Dr. Arthur Vaughn is the Managing Director of Arthur Vaughn Accounting & Consulting, Inc., a firm dedicated to helping colleges and universities, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies optimize the use of their resources. The firm specializes in contract CFO services, controllership, and internal audit support, delivering insights that help clients better understand organizational risks and implement effective controls.
With more than 25 years of leadership experience in higher education, Dr. Vaughn brings deep expertise in finance, accounting, and internal auditing. His extensive background equips him to deliver practical, results-oriented solutions that strengthen financial operations and enhance organizational performance.
A Big Four alumnus, Dr. Vaughn leverages time-tested methodologies that have proven effective over decades. He has spent the majority of his career leading financial operations within higher education institutions.
Dr. Vaughn is an active member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Internal Auditors, and the Association of Government Accountants.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Syracuse University, a Master of Public Administration (Finance) from Clark Atlanta University, a Master of Science in Accounting from Kennesaw State University, and a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from the University of Georgia.
